Construction transport from a Dubai base
Nafees Transport is headquartered in Dubai, so Dubai projects are our home ground. From the IFZA Free Zone in Dubai Silicon Oasis we plan and dispatch loads to sites across the emirate, and onward to every other emirate.
Dubai's construction market moves quickly, and sites depend on materials arriving exactly when the work needs them. Our role is simple: get your bulk loads, steel, rebar and industrial materials to site safely and on schedule, with a clear line of communication from quote to drop-off.
Planning around Dubai's truck movement rules
From 1 October 2026, the RTA and Dubai Police apply new truck movement restrictions across Dubai. According to the official announcement:
- Round-the-clock bans apply on Al Qudra Street, Al Meydan Street, all crossings and the Airport Tunnel.
- A daily ban from 6 AM to 10 PM applies on Sheikh Zayed Road and Beirut Street, and in the residential areas of Al Mizhar, Muhaisnah and Oud Al Muteena.
- Peak-hour bans (6:30–8:30 AM, 1–3 PM and 5:30–8 PM) apply on Airport Street, Oman Street and Damascus Street.
- Emirates Road is exempt from the decision.
- Companies with essential needs can apply to the RTA for a Mobility Permit for Heavy Vehicles in Banned Times and Roads.
For contractors, these rules change how a delivery day is planned. A site that was once a short run along Sheikh Zayed Road may now need a different route or a delivery outside the restricted hours. We build these rules into every Dubai dispatch. Our truck restrictions guide explains them in more detail.
Which services Dubai projects use most
Dubai sites call on our full range, but three services come up most often:
- Construction material transport for site deliveries timed to the build programme.
- Steel and rebar haulage for reinforcement that has to be on site before a pour.
- Bulk material transport for large-volume inputs from suppliers and plants.
Projects with deliveries every week often move to a project logistics partnership, so the whole delivery programme is planned together.
Site deliveries in a busy city
Many Dubai sites sit in dense, active neighbourhoods where space is tight and access changes as the build progresses. Before dispatch, we confirm how a heavy vehicle reaches the drop point, how the load will be unloaded and when the site can receive it. Our guide to planning material deliveries for a project site sets out the points worth checking.
