Transport for Sharjah's sites and industry
Nafees Transport delivers construction and industrial materials in Sharjah as part of our nationwide UAE coverage. Sharjah borders Dubai, so many of our Sharjah jobs are cross-emirate runs between the two.
Sharjah combines a dense city, established industrial areas and growing development on its outskirts. Each brings different delivery challenges – from tight urban access to longer runs to new project sites – and we plan each job accordingly.
The Dubai–Sharjah corridor
The roads between Dubai and Sharjah are among the busiest in the UAE. Heavy vehicles share them with commuter traffic, so the time of day matters. Two points are worth knowing:
- The RTA introduced a truck ban on Emirates Road towards Sharjah between Al Awir Street and Sharjah during the evening peak (5:30–8:00 PM), effective 1 January 2025.
- Dubai's wider truck restrictions from 1 October 2026 exempt Emirates Road, but restrict trucks on Sheikh Zayed Road and several city streets – see the official announcement.
Because rules on this corridor have changed more than once, we confirm the current position before every dispatch. Our Dubai to Sharjah route page covers the planning in more detail.
Industrial transport in Sharjah
Sharjah has a large industrial base, and our industrial materials transport service supports factories and plants with planned, professional deliveries. We coordinate collection and delivery windows with both ends, so trucks arrive when loading bays and receiving teams are ready.
Construction deliveries in Sharjah
For construction sites, we deliver construction materials, steel and rebar and bulk loads. Before dispatch, we confirm access to the drop point, how the load will be unloaded and when the site can receive it, so the truck is not turned away at the gate.

Sharjah delivery checklist
- Location: the exact site or facility, not just the area.
- Window: when the site can receive the load, avoiding peak periods on the corridor if possible.
- Access: gate, approach road and any height, width or turning limits.
- Unloading: tipped, lifted or unloaded by hand or equipment, and who provides it.
- Frequency: a single delivery, or several to be planned together.
Send these with your quote request – our quote checklist has a template. A photo of the site entrance often answers access questions in seconds.
